As long as we can have "Hail Satan!" on the 5 dollar bill, "In Goddess We Trust" on the 20, and the FSM on the nickel I'd be fine with it.

Allah is a name specifically identified to Isam.
God is a more generic name (or title if you prefer) that can be applied by all religious beliefs.
BTW - the Pledge of Allegence as orginally written (in 1892)did not have "under God" in it. That was added in 1954.

In the United States the general rule is that the majority rules. The majority of the people in this country believes in God in one form or another.

I'm not really understanding your question. In God we trust isn't endorsing a specific religion. To Muslims Allah is God. To some Christians Jesus is God. You have to understand that this nation was established by White Christian men. Which recognized that there is nothing wrong with religion since it does give people a more compassionate way of thinking. For those who do not believe in anything its unfortunate.

Ive got so much love to give- In God We trust was added during the Cold War, not the Civil War. And Thomas Jefferson, one of the founding fathers was the one to first mention separation of church and state. But I do agree with you, someone needs to brush up on their history.
As for me, if it said In Allah we trust, I would be so mad that I would immediately take it to the nearest Louis Vuitton store just to get rid of it (hee hee).

The motto IN GOD WE TRUST was placed on United States coins largely because of the increased religious sentiment existing during the Civil War. It has been that way from then on.
America was founded on Anglo-Saxon and Christian values, hence "one Nation Under God".
This means, basically, that you might want to read a little about our country's history to understand why it says so. And remember, you are not forced to pledge allegiance.

Allah is supreme to the Muslims. God is supreme to the Christians and Jews. Other religions have other supreme deities. Is it so far fetched to consider that God, Allah, etc are one in the same? There can only be one supreme deity, call him whatever you like.

Muslims are more tolerant.
Muslim men can marry Christian or Jewish women and according to Islamic law they do not need to change their faith at anytime.
Yasir Arafats wife is still a Christian.
What better proof is needed to prove Islam can coexist with the other two faiths ???
The Question is whether Christianity can coexist with Judaism and Islam.
Historically they have failed miserably with the Jews and now we will see how they do with the Muslims.....

Its not. It shouldn't say that and was added during the 50's when the Cold War was going on against the Constitution.
