Why do you want to treat a logical decision to avoid some types of people. If they believe in the rules for life that are so different from yours you need to be careful at least. You may be a winner and have all the people you want in your restricted circle of friends and want to avoid helping the outcast in life.

I have five phobias; the first is Anthropophobia- the fear of people, Xenophobia- the fear of strangers, Traumatophobia- the fear of injury and Demophobia or Ochlophobia- the fear of crowds. Phobias are hard to treat. I have medical books. Good luck.

people will say avoidant personality disorder, but it is really just a form of social anxiety. i know, because that is me. although i am not mean to people's faces i am def. afraid of rejection and as a rationalization, i will tell myself that the person is no that great anyway.

Social anxiety. I can't remember the exact term from my psychology classes. I would suggest counseling as best way to help treat it.
