Difficult question. Atheists usually become famous by being confrontational. The ones "most Jesus-like" are probably are the lesser known teachers, philosophers, humanitarians.

I think it was the Dalai Lama (did I spell that right??). I had heard that he lived as Jesus lived and was righteous, good and had good moral teachings. He came close to actually accepting Christ, but something turned him away and he rejected Christ, yet he still lived an exemplary and moral life. If this is true, then it is sad, because he had the chance for eternal life and rejected it, and no amount of goodness counts with God - it is our relationship to His Son that counts with God, since there is no way we can earn our way to Heaven by being good.

Buddha. He pursued enlightenment, and after achieving it, offered it to others. He was kind, gracious, and believed in the Golden rule. He swept away old thinking and introduced a new way to see things.
