My CALLING was to teach. Everything that I have done as far as working in the world has been geared toward teaching. I have also had a career in music and sang professionally for more than 10 years and also acted when I lived in Southern California. To me, a little girl from Alabama - this was the most perfect pair of opportunities that I could have ever dreamed of. My continued career is teaching and music. I sing and play for my church and piano bar in resturants. I also background other professionals. I teach at a school for the Arts and have two pianos in my classroom. I am upbeat and friendly and love going to work everyday. There are always new opportunities, new students to help, new people to meet - and an exciting place to work. I could not ask for anything more. I guess I'll be the kind of teacher and singer that someone will have to tell me - it's time for you to sit down - because I plan to do this until I'm done.

How about the job of your dreams?

That job is the one that brings you fulfillment of your passion. Whether it is helping battered women or cooking for a crowd, what ever gives you great joy, that is what you should be doing. That way, you will be content on knowing you are giving your best and not regretting or wondering why you are wasting your time doing something you hate.

If your passion requires some professional training, go for it. Don't ever settle for any less than you dream of. Your dreams are there to be fulfilled and only you can fulfill them.

Best.

I'm a student, studying engineering.

But my dream job: Getting paid to travel the world, like some of those people on TV. "And today's show is about {enter country here}"... Amazing.
