Late 70's 80's and early 90's mostly Rock, AC/DC, Kansas, Boston, Journey, etc...
MMMM, good stuff!
But, at times, Sinatra, old Blue Eyes is really relaxing.
(I am showing my age)
As for the new "Music" Most Rap is not appealing to me, although Will Smith has had some good rap tunes. Whiney Chick Music does nothing for me. There are a few that I like though.
Peace be with you!

I listen to a wide range of music from Rap, to Hip Hop, to Country, to Christian. I just make sure that whatever I am listening to is appropriate, and glorifying to the Lord.

I like some Christian Bands, Third Day, Ceadmons Call, News Boys and DC Talk. My favorite secular bands are Keane, Blue October, and Pink Floyd.

I listen to a lot of classical, but that's because I perform classical music. I also work with church music (which, in my case, is usually also classical, or at least very traditional). Otherwise, it's fairly eclectic, but with an emphasis on classic rock.

To heal the wounds of nations.
Try it out with the "Power of love"
Love songs with lyrics in living words that passes by our daily lives with no one even notice it.
Back in the past it was call the Psalms.
That will soothe the sorrows of living human kind on planet earth.
Instead "The young one" tune in to higher frequency and self destruct in time.

I listen to classical, opera, jazz, big band, showtunes, rock, oldies, ska, punk, and new wave. Some of the classical pieces are religious (I love Faure's Requiem), but the non-classical music is secular.

I'm not christian but i do listen to 1 christian artist. His name is James Taylor and he's just an incredible, intelligent, respectful, and person who is full of love. I'd advise getting his best of album. I bet you've actually heard a lot of his stuff before and not known it was him.
