Which I am upset and hurt by this, but my question is, do I have a right to be? Would you be so if your boyfriend did this, girls?
My boyfriend of 11 months, who I have had sex, went out and got circumsized last July 10th. The other day we were in his bed and he was half falling asleep so for fun I started to take "it" out of his boxers...and when I peaked down at "it" under the covers I noticed his foreskin was GONE. And instead there he had a few stitches from the procedure and a scar. I mean, I DO prefer a guy circumsized, but I was totally getting used to his skin, and it was a short foreskin so it wasn't a big deal.
I just feel hurt and upset he didn't even mention this to me AT ALL. He does NOT need my permission, but the fact he did this with out even telling me about it hurts alot.
He said he did it b/c his doctor advised for it to be done for "medical reasons."
Do I have a right to be hurt by this? Would you be? What should I do about it?

There ar lots of things that will happen without him telling you. Maybe he actually did it because he knew you preferred a guy circumcised, and came up with the Doctor story after you freaked out, who knows.
What should you do? Enjoy the new circumcised boyfriend...:)

This is seriously not that big of an issue... you need ta chill out and get over it.. when you started out saying "11 months and sex" I thought somethingn bad had gone down... like he was cheating on you...HE JUST GOT CIRCUMSIZED!!! thats good too cuz all that extra meat aint necessary

Yeah I think you have a right to be upset. This is a big enough thing that he *should* have mentioned it. If you two are together then his sex life is your sex life.
ALTHO.....is it at all possible that he did this to surprise you (in a good way) in some odd way, so that you'd be surprised, but happy when you saw?
Still, I think concert tickets is a better surprise and if he's going to hack away at his dick he should tell you.

Well maybe he was embarrassed by it, and he didn't want to tell you, its not that big of a deal, just let it go, and plus he did it for medical reasons. Maybe he thought that was his business, not yours.

well, if his doctor said do it for medical reasons, you have no reason at all to be hurt...he was taking care of his own HEALTH.

dont be mad about it..just get over it...n plus he consulted with the doctor for medical reasons......yea u can be mad but its his thing not urs so just let it slide....
