All out get on one knee and ask him to marry her.
Would he have to go out and buy her a ring after she proposed?

I don't have a problem with a woman proposing. But It means a couple of things to me. One, she must really love you and reall ywant to be with you forever. Second, It means the guy is slacking and taking too darn long in making that commitment.

Traditionally the man will ask the girl so in theory if the woman goes against tradition by doing the asking then I think you have to ignore the rest of the traditional things too. If the woman proposes then I think she should buy the ring and all that good stuff. Just a thought.

Men are about ego, (other good things too of course) but it could bruise there ego and later leave a wimpy cloud over him, especially with his friends. You are trying to say, you love him. He may feel you are taking away some of the man thing. Best to let him have his glory and ask you...go ahead and hint...he's probably planning something really cool now! Women get to show off their rings, men feel great when there woman tells all of how HE proposed. Times are changing...however I think this one should be a guy thing.

well yeah, but it might hurt a man's ego a little, coz friends will be asking 'when did he propose gal, details'
and the woman an man will be like, 'well'
what will they say, do they say it just happened, there is nothing wrong with it in my opinion, but i would love my man to propose, then we wont have to wonder hu buys the ring and who gets to wear the pants, just kidding, but seriously, women if love someone go right ahead coz that man will love u to death, if thats what he has been wanting to ask, but being scared that u mite not want it.

on leap year is the only year you can do this and i may add it does happen but then again i dont' know ho w many have done that. I am not sure about the ring? i mean i guess the guy would go out and buy one cause that is what shows whose is whose lol

yeah a woman can purpose to a man but that would suck for the man
because the woman stole his glory of proposing
and besides the woman would have to buy the ring and shed have to kneel down

my history teacher proposed to his wife twice and she said no then she proposed to him and he said yes. they are happily married with a baby girl called yasmine. so i guess it can work out both ways. Personally id like a guy to propose to me i would neva ask them to marry me even if i love them....its way tooo embarresing lol.

why not,today we women are more in control and we have more guts then some men and waiting for them could take ages so i so you go ahead girl and ask the man.
you must proberly have a ring by you and he must then go and buy a ring

Toaly! Its not just the mans job! My mother proposed to my dad...Although it was probably a bad decision.....
