if they do not touch the $, then how are they going to live in USA as USA believes in God and it clearly says on its currency. Do they (atheists) go to another country and find another currency which says "We don't trust in GOD" and live happily ever after ?

You need to do a little history. This phrase was not on american money until the 1950's not the 1850's not the 1780's but the 1950's. Also the phrase one nation under god was not in the pledge until the 1950's. Also if you read the US Constitution in the oath the president takes no where and I mean no where does it say " so help me god" these are new editions and it shows how our once great secular nation is being picked apart by the religious right in this country. It is all the more reason that good americans that believe in the Constitution and what the founding fathers were doing stand up against the tyranny of all religions. Fight the oppression of religion and do not allow it to control our country the way it does in Iran.

That's dumb. Sorry, but the founders of this country were God fearing people, but they set up our government to allow for all kinds of belief systems. They never wanted religion and politics to get intermingled. (that's why they came to America in the first place) The dollar bill still has "In God We Trust" because the majority of Americans, in some fashion or other, still believe in God or a God. It doesn't bother most people enough to try and get it changed. That doesn't mean that people who do not believe in God should be banned from using a currency they did not design. That's just silly.

Atheists have not many followers outside USA, maybe a few
with the allies of USA, like UK, Canada, or even those teens
of Japan but not many world-wide. Its a western fad which
can flourish only in USA. What is the place you call where the
atheists gather.. .. atheists' Church, Place of Worship, Temple or playground ?

I have so many answers to this question, I'm not sure where to start. All I know is that life on earth is gonna get the shake up of its existence sooner or later. I also know I must be willing to do whatever I have to in standing up for what I believe. I don't want any changes made to our money, but no one in charge has asked for my opinion. I just have to accept it, and let it go. Render unto Cease and all that...

I don't care that In God we Trust in on my money. They can put Zeus giving a high five to Vishnu as well. All I care is that the money can be exchanged for goods and services. Besides, where did you get the notion that we can't physically touch anything with God written on it? We're not afraid of a word representing something we don't believe in.

"Atheists don't touch anything that is God"

Wait, what? Since when?

"Do they (atheists) go to another country"

I AM in another country. In the UK our £10 notes have Darwin on the back. Surely, by your logic, all theists must avoid touching £10s as it is against their religion?

Seriously though, this is a stupid question.

Given the fact that 'In God We Trust' has only been our national motto since the fifties, I don't think it's that big of a deal. Let's return to the good national motto, which was E Pluribus Unum.

As for what's on the money when I spend it, it really is irrelevant.

Asker, I hope to heaven that this nonsense isn't the only thing that concerns you. Children are dying of starvation and disease in Africa, there is an obscene war in which innocent people are dying or being maimed, there are women being raped this very moment, etc., etc., etc. And you center on a few stupid words on American currency. Some drink from the fountain of knowledge, some just gargle.

I think the Atheists are too busy reading to worry about such trivial matters. BTW, this might interest you-

Some Christians went bonkers when it was falsely reported in an e-mail that "In God We trust" was taken off the dollar coins. They were the ones protesting that they would not accept or use these coins. They could have avoided the stress if they would have searched snopes.com or simply listened to one of the many people who told them it was a hoax. Would you care to rethink your question now?
Thanks for the espresso shot though!
Edit- If my child asked, I would have answered exactly the same way, but she has more sense.

No other currency I have seen has anything stating god on it. As it should be.

Last I recall, USA is a country, not a person.
