Staying for 3 wks?

Ok so I'm spending 3 wks in NY starting friday and I'm staying in Park Slope. Is the transport frequent into the city? Any tips on what I should do over there?

Subways run all the time. Go to the farmers' market in Union Square (in Manhattan; you'll be in Brooklyn). Buy some Martin's Pretzels. Check out the kirby cukes and cherry tomatoes. But don't eat too much there; go across the street to Zen Palate for an amazing and affordable meal.

Park Slope is an excellent community to relax and party. If you have the urge to go to Manhattan take the F subway. For Park Slope the hot spots are on Fourth Avenue.
