You can't holler "Yee Haw" because people will look at you and frown and your mother will pinch you terribly on the tender skin under your arm when no one is looking then give you a knuckle thump on the head after the service as you're getting in the car.
You can, however, holler "HONOLULU!" when everyone else hollers "HALLELUJAH!" and some folks will look at you kind of funny but will think they just didn't hear you correctly. You have to time this just right, however, so that you're not the only one hollering or you could get your butt caught. Then the game is over because everyone will know you're a gone-to-hell sinner and trouble-maker and in the service of Satan or Al Gore and watch you like a hawk. At that point you might just as well pack it in and realize your only escape will be to join the Army when you are 16.
But, look at the bright side, I will retire in another year at age 36 then I'll get a cushy job with the post office because I get extra points on the entry test so will retire from there after another 20 years with both postal retirement and Social Security and will officially be a triple-dipper. Unless, of course, one of my fellow postal workers is compelled by God to go postal and wipe out the whole sub-station because I hollered "HONOLULU!" instead of "HALLELUJAH!" 19 years ago.

Hallelujah is a Hebrew word that means "Praise the Lord". Yee Haw is not.
But we probably will be having a few "Yee Haw"s in the church for the next two weeks. We open Friday night with "Nunsense Jamboree", a Country/Western show. Using the church auditorium for six performances.

Hallelujah (which means "Praise be to God") seems more appropriate. But when the Spirit compells you, I can't find anything wrong with shouting Yee Haw or Huzzah or Woohoo.

you can holler "YEE HAW" in church if you want....if that's where the Spirit's leading you.
you can also go to a NASCAR race on a Sunday morning and worship there....thank you Lord for blessing us with such an amazing past time. bless the drivers and please help Harvick or LaBonte to win....they pray @ the races and there's a fly-over. what could be more worshipful than that?!

As long as it give praise to God, I'm sure a Yee Haw can give God praise if it comes from your heart.

Who says you can't? I'm sure that God appreciates a heartfelt "Yee Haw!" as much as a Hallelujah.
It's not what you say...it's what's in your heart, that God is interested in.
