I've been working with this guy for almost 3 years, but I've only started liking him about 5 months ago. He's 18, just graduated from high school, and is about to leave for college in about a month. I'm 20 and go to a local college. Over the past few months, we've gotten a lot closer, and many times when we're together at work or somewhere else, he'll exhibit some "signs" that he may like me. I've read lots of sites and articles about the lil things guys do that show he may like you, including body language and behavior, and I see a lot of that when we're together. Problem is that he doesn't ALWAYS do this stuff. So I'm getting mixed signals and I'm not positive he likes me. But with him going off to college, I'm not sure if I should tell him how I feel? Should I tell him soon? Should I wait till just before he leaves? Should I maybe wait till he's home during a school break? Or should I not say anything, since he'll probably be meeting soo many new people at college?

During his school breaks, he'll most likely come back to work where I work to make some extra money. But he's going to college 4 hours from where I live.

telling him you like him won't stop him from going to college. he most likely feels the same way, but maybe not as strong (guys can be like that sometime, dont ask why). he probably realizes he shouldnt get into a serious relationship right before he leaves. if you're not afraid of rejection, tell him now. dont wait, because it will be too late. you never know, it may just be puppy love, and you may meet someone else while he's at college.

Never. He's going to a different school, and he needs to concentrate on that. Both of you are too young to be in a serious relationship. He'll meet all kinds of different people in college as will you, and the both of you should be playing the field and taking full advantage. Now, if you want to hook up for a night or get a friends with benefits thing going for when you're in town together, that would be ok, but there shouldn't be any commitments to hold either of you back.

I don't know if telling him how you feel would be the best idea. What do you want to happen? If you start dating, long distance things really don't work out. He's only 18... probably gonna be a little wild first time away from home (i.e. not faithful). I would keep the crush to yourself and see what happens when he comes home the first few times; see if it's worth potentially getting your heart broken.
Good luck! =)

Tell him, you dont try and you'll always be wondering "what if", I got too many of those in my life... btw does he work while he goes to college? cuz i do and i dont meet much ppl in college, i just do school and dip for home or work. Not much time to socialize with ppl if u no what i mean.

Yeah, that probably wouldn't work out... It's just bad timing. I thought about asking out a girl in my class near the end of the semester, but didn't because we live too far away.

But I'd tell him how you feel... You two can still be good friends during breaks and such.

As for the mixed signals....he may like you but gets insecure and scared.. then backs off. I would go ahead and tell him.

Tell him now. The worst thing that will happen if you dont tell him is that you'll always be wondering how it would of been if you told him. Tell him.

It seems he likes you. You like him.
If you don't tell him, you will not to know how good to be yours relationships.
If your love will strong enough, he will come back every weekend to see you, to meet you.

If you keep your mouth in silence you will agonize.
... I think
