Hi I am a new driver and I'm trying to find a good looking car with good crash safety ratings. If anyone has a good idea that would be great.

Thanks

You can research crash test ratings & safety ratings at the following sites:

Or just buy a 2008 Ford Taurus, it was just named "THE safest full size car in America"

The saturn sounds good and if you just starting, the price is definitely a consideration. The safety features should lower your insurance. You can also go online to Consumer guide to see what they recommend.

Good Luck with your first car.

I have a Saturn Ion and I love love it! It lowered my insurance and it's great because it's outside is dent proof for minor dents (grocery cart, slight fender bender, etc). You can actually punch it and it won't harm it. It's great on gas milage too! Mine is a 2005 and I haven't had to have any work done on it yet and I've had it since Dec 04. Saturn also worked with my finacially because I was a college student at the time without a full time job. Their customer service is great too! Great car! I am buying Saturn's from now on!

Pick the car you are considering and then you will see what the test rating was. Simple as pie!
