I've heard stories of young children, around 2 or 3 that act possessed. I assume that's too young for a mentally ill person to know enough of anything to blame any particular religious character or to behave according to a Christian description of what happens. But, the majority of the rest of the world don't have the same culture at all as America or Europe so what do they say it is?

I've heard about it and heard some serious cases but never observed one myself. I think its more of culture than anything else. If the kids a major brat he must be possessed etc. I dont believe it. Although some people and cultures do use a lot more magic etc. While I dont think it can have a physical effect, just the thought of some one using Voodoo against you or your kid can lead to false diagnoses of an overly hyper kid as possessed.

There are quite a few "possession" among African tribes, and they dont even view God the way American/European Christians do. Native Americans also have "possessions". Are they demons or mental illness? Im not the one to answer that but its not only in Christianity.

Heh plenty for the thought of unfastened will. In essence you're claiming that our unfastened will as human beings is subtrifuged via demons, meaning that your total rationalization for God allowing sin to flow into the international interior the 1st place is incorrect. Which turns your God into an tremendously immoral deity. you won't be able to have it the two techniques, there is the two finished unfastened will and we as human beings administration our supernatural destiny, or we don't and are the playthings of your God and his argumentative quior director.

Well there isn't an age limit on mental illness. But sure. It happens all the time in cultures that believe in it, and rarely in cultures that don't. It might make you think that they got the idea from the adults.

Mental illness is a combination of organic, genetic, and environmental factors. It's got nothing to do with the supernatural, magic, demons or any of that. Regardless of the age and wherever it happens, it's still mental illness.

Allegedly they might be possessed by 'evil spirits' or 'scorned ancestors.'

It just seems silly though....

Nope, they're just brats.
A good spanking and a time-out chair would do them wonders.
