last night I posted asking people if they would like to have a discussion in a chat room
all religious and non religious beliefs were welcome but they had to respect each others opinions
I got mixed reactions from people saying it wouln't happen
but we had Fundamental Christians , Catholics , Muslim , Atheists and myself a Spiritualist all in one room
and it was a lovely night
yes there were a few things which got a bit heated at times , but we respected each other and things settled down
but in the end , we all left a little more enlightened about each other and I think we all found some new friends
infact I think we came to the conclusion that we had very little differences

if this can happen in a chat area with some deep discussions going on between people of very different beliefs... why not everywhere ?

I tried getting in, but my computer didn't like the chat box. lol. No problems with the link though.

Perhaps the next one could be a Yahoo Messenger conference. I know I never have problems with those. Meanwhile I've made an R&S group on Yahoo Groups but I know for a fact that it's nowhere near as good as your chatroom.

I have every belief that all people can be united, with a little bit of encouragement.

Thanks for your help in this matter.

May peace go with you always

It sounds like you had a wonderful time, connecting with folks of a wide vasriety of beilefs and I think it's a wonderful idea. Would you email me and leave YOUR email open for a bit so I can invite you to join my YM? Thank you, pangel (((HUGS)))

mmmmm...i'm extraordinarily particular this is named the dark a protracted time...you realize, whilst humanity replaced into at its maximum degraded morally, ethically, economically and scholastically. the unfold of the gospel and the outlet of the Bible (initiating with Martin Luther in 1417) allowed human beings to alter into greater knowledgeable, via fact the Bible (easily) standardized language and the known of human living / literacy stronger. get this piece of historic previous. Martin Luther's translation of the Bible from an incomprehensible and, finally, unbeneficial, langauge into the German vernacular opened literacy interior the country. not only that, Gutenburg, credited with inventing movable sort printing in Europe (ca. 1450) and became a form for standardized language, had his significant paintings via fact the Gutenberg Bible, additionally customary via fact the 40 two-line bible, has been ACCLAIMED for its severe aesthetic and technical high quality. so which you have lots of those outward effects yet INWARDLY, mild got here; it replaced into not the dark a protracted time. and the place there is mild, there is existence, advance and progression. you may talk like that becuase there is the Bible. If we did not have the Bible we probably does not have the capacity to study. do not undermine your literacy; it has lots to do with the Bible. so hug it. it is your chum.

I went off to do something. I came back, and you guys were talking about a certain part of a male's anatomy being DETACHED!

It was interesting, though I didn't participate that much because the discussion goes by a little fast.

The reason it worked in your chat room is because you were lucky enough to get people open to a dialogue amongst beliefs. In the real world, the radicals of religions make their voices heard, and are not open to listen to another person's position/belief.

I think I popped into one of your chats before a long time ago, they are always at silly o'clock in the morning for me :(

Seemed pretty calm and fun last time.

I would join in but I type REALLY slow. Those chat rooms are impossible for me as people keep asking if I'm still there every five seconds. Sounds nice though. I'm pretty sure I couldn't have a heated argument about religion anyway seeing as I have no strong views about any belief.

I regret that I didn't have sense enough to get my computer to work with your chat site. I will address the problem and try to be there next time! Glad it went well!

I am a born again Christian (Protestant) and this sounds like a great idea. But keep in mind when it comes to religious beliefs people can get pretty passionate. Agreeing to disagree would have to be the number one priority. Go for it.
