all these people in the working world would be doing is BABYSITTING YOUR CHILDREN............

let them be KIDS...it goes by too quickly anyway and then they are thrust into adulthood and spend the rest of their lives being responsible

why not have them doing chores at home that are age appropriate???

i feel sorry for your kids if you have any

**EDIT**

what job would someone like yourself suggest for my 6 year old ??????? maybe we would velcro scrubbing pads to my 1 year olds knees and he could keep my floors clean. why didn't i think of that before????!!!!!!

ooh! i get it ti's not responsibility you are wanting to teach them, you want the extra money..........

No, if they work at such a young age, then they don't really get to enjoy their childhood. These years are important for them to enjoy and learn about the world and not work.

Are you really that much of a loser that you come on this site and ask stupid questions because you think it's funny? I seriously hope you are not an adult because the thought of grown people doing this stupid **** is frightening. I can get jokes about stupid things but by joking about child labor you know all you'll get is answers from a bunch of people calling you an asshole or just upset answers in general and you obvious get off on it.

What country are you from? Kids barely know how to do things around the house in elementary school. That is child labor and it's against the law in America! You may work your own child and pay them yourself, or not. You cannot farm them out to pay for your expenses, though. That's sick. They need to be in school learning to provide for their future.

Sorry, but a poster who asks "Do dogs and cats make reliable babysitters for taking care of newborns and infants?" on a previous post deserves no answer.

Thanks for the points.

Children learn through example. If you have a strong work ethic, your kids will too. The earliest a kid can work is 12.

If only that were true, I'd work since I was 7, like the kids in Mexico.

No way. Children at that age should be out playing with their friends. Where are you from anyway?

Holy hell, I hope you're kidding.

If not, you should know that children need to have a childhood. Otherwise, they grow up socially stunted without any imagination.
