about mankind, Satan had his opinion God had His/Hers and they bartered the life of one man and God amicably agreed to let Satan do his worst and each wanted to prove a point, and that man was Job. Do you feel that all of that was necessary and doesn't it also show that whether we like it or not God & Satan sort of work together sometimes?

A very interesting question, I think theres been a continuous "chat" so to speak for a very long time, But the agree to disagree has been set in stone and the ending already finalized. But it would be something, with a couple of refs there to maybe address a few issues. wouldnt it be phenomenal to witness such a talk? Just imagine.

You know if I remember my Bible day's correctly, there was a story about the temptation of Satan trying to talk to Jesus.
It was in the deseret after Jesus was trying to go without any food and water for some purification purposes.
Satan tried to talk to Jesus then remember. And he was trying to tempt jesus to make that stone into Bread. And something else into water. And Jesus would not do that. And than Satan was going to give Jesus the world, if he made himself jump down the cliff. So if all purposes safes me right, I would say God , Jesus will never talk to Satan. And as far as Satan is concerned, I do not believe in that kind of stuff. Satan is something old ancient and has to do with a lot of pagean ritual stuff. So no Jesus and God will never talk to Satan.

Sounds like God and Satan are a little self centered and have "coffee hour". Sounds like a rather "human" thing to do. If God is all knowing why does he have to "prove" anything?

That is an awfully brief synopsis of the story, but basically that is what it is about.
In Job Satan acts as God's prosecuting attorney.
