The Devil's greatest accomplishment was to convince people that he didn't exist. --
I don't know who said it, but it is true. When he has us convinced that him and his demons aren't real, he can run rampant over our lives, wreaking havoc and destroying us. Today we medicate his influence, we send it to counseling, and we blame our parents for it.
Hopefully soon we will recognize him for the liar and destroyer that he is and we'll take the right steps to remove him from our lives. The name of Jesus is the only thing that will defeat the power of Satan over the lives of people.

first and foremost... I look to be afflicted by numerous the comparable issues which you're dealing with. i'm in simple terms no longer as impending. as far as my perception in "demonic possession", i think that it would could be genuine. I even have been reading quantum physics and micro-biology by way of Berkeley. by way of this learn I even have are available the time of distinctive theories on certainty. a lot of those bring about the tip that there are distinctive planes of certainty (or dimensions). right this moment i'm additionally challenge a private journey into theology. between my scientific and theological learn, there seems many places which you will overlay one on the different. A small occasion of this may be : Theology tells us that there are demons that very own guy whilst technological expertise enables us to theorize their life. some might argue that a concept must be proved. yet maximum of those might have argued years in the past that the earth is flat!

Both possession and oppression. Been in real hands-on ministry in Los Angeles for too long to deny it. I do NOT believe that a Christian (someone who has been baptized) can be "possessed" - but - oppression...no doubt.

a childrens home? I know someone who lived at a foster care center...lots of kids that were treated like cattle...theyre jaded..but not demon possessed(i have yet to see proof of a demon)
i've also seen the same hopelessness while goin through south central...no hope..very sad. It has nothing to do with spirits...just hard luck and lack of support

Yes...I too have seen it first hand.
I don't believe a Christian can be possession but I do be believe a Christian can be deamonized...which is more of the oppression.

Absolutely not!
I believe in less enlightened times, conditions such as schizophrenia, autism, and palsy were misunderstood and treated as demon possession. Autism in particular is still largely misunderstood. I have worked very closely with autistic teens (full blown, no ability to interact with other people), there were times when I could see how people would think of demon possession. I have the scars to prove it.

yes. spirits can go into people. Some native indians from a while back did this weird dance where they moved their feet until one of them started spazzing out and went into a trance. i'm pretty sure they were possed at that time.
