Give us an idea of what he likes to do, if he likes fishing, get him a fishing rod. Does he like poker, cards etc? Get him a poker set or a card shuffling machine. Get him a cigar set if he is a smoker and some nice cigars. What type or work does he do, is he a fix it man? Get him a tool kit set.. You don't have to get them both the same gift either, they will be grateful for their own ind. gift and know that you really put thought into it. Or you can do a pic w each groomsman and the groom together in a pic frame.

Yes, please stay clear of the usual gifts such as flasks, beer steins, etc. unless they're dying for one.
We got all of our guys a gift card to their favorite store. I didn't want to get them a gift just for the sake of getting them a gift. So we got them gift cards to Home Depot and Circuit City; stores we knew they shopped at regularly. If you know they've been wanting this incredible bottle of wine that may have been difficult to find or a little out of their price range, that would be nice. Or another idea I came across when I was getting married was something called a Cap Catcher. This is really for the avid beer bottle drinker but you can really get it for anyone if it's their kind of thing. I just thought it was different and it can be personalize as well. Link below...

If you go to Signaturedays.com you can buy them each a gift card to redeem an "experience." This is perfect, especially since they're all different. They can go skydiving, attend cooking classes, drive a Nascar, take golfing lessons, wine tastings, everything! (They also come in a fancy, and not feminine-looking box). It's unique and something they will actually use but you can't go wrong even though they all have different tastes!

We got them the folding camp chairs in a bag and had their names embroidered on the backs. It has been 6 years and they still use them and it makes me feel like I did something worthwhile when we are at the beach, concert, or ballgame and they pull out their chairs. Anyone can use a chair, they are very versitile, and nice. Best wishes!

How about a personalized sign:

Or a personalized cigar humidor (you could fill it with their favorite cigars or leave it empty):
