We all have a time limit whether its the first chance we get or 6 months...but how long can you really wait to have sex once your are dating?

I am not asking you guys to help me decide I was just asking a general q...lol..I was with this guy for a year never had sex to him then was with a guy for 7 months and did...I agree with some of you when you say that it all depends on the person.

i agree w/some here...its better to wait..cuz once u do it say after a period of time i think that the next bf you have the period of time will just become shorter and shorter..and then when u least expect it ur gunna crave sex all the time! and become a sex whore!
but in all honesty...just wait...that way u dont have to keep worrying about "is now a good time, is he the right one" etc etc..when ur married u can do it whenever you want! w/out having all kinds of questions

Depends on the two involved. There's no set rules. It's up to how the teo feel about each other and their own personal morals and beliefs in the matter. The old saying is "you'll know when the time is right" usually holds true. It depends on the moment you feel you need to take it to the next level based on your involvement together.

You should wait until you feel it's the right time for you, but make sure you wait long enough to get to know the person a little bit more. You don't want to be hurt at the end.

Five years, if that's how long it takes to get married. It isn't an issue for me, because I am saving myself. I've seen premarital sex ruin a perfectly good relationship at least twice. It can often do a whole lot more harm than good, and remember, its natural purpose is to reproduce...

LoL, i'm a hoe i gave it up to a guy in a week... but we have been togather for 2 years so it must have been good :P I think its really about how you guys feel about eachother... Like we were friends for like 8 months.. lotta built up tension there.

There really is no set time. Everybody is different.
The true answer to how long can you wait is: until you feel comfortable and feel the time is right.

depends on the couple. after my bf and I met, we spent everyday/night together for like 2 wks and then had sex.
