a generalizing of ALL christians. If I were to say ALL christians I would be putting an entire group into one narrow statement. So How do you address those who are ignorant with reguards to a spacific argument while not being perceived as directing the statement at ALL of them?

Ignorance is Bliss. Even When ignorant people are wrong there right. Contraditory but its true because they don't know any better

With God there is only one truth and one way. Jesus said narrow is the gate to salvation and broad and spacious is the road to destruction. The lie about all roads leading to God is what props up the vast majority of christendom.
Jesus had a specific way and only one truth for his followers to be guided by but Satan has brought many counterfeits to confuse those who not only do not search for the truth but do even know what is truth.
The point is also that your very question show lack of love for others which is ignorance also as the apostle Paul said to season your words with salt.

Do you like to be insulted? When you call someone ignorant, stupid, or any other name, that causes hurt feelings. My suggestion, very simple! Don't use terms like that, if it were to offend you!
