I keep hearing that we are issuing tons of visas from regions of the world where the terrorists breed...and even giving refugee status to those from Iraq etc....
How many terrorists will slip into our country that way?
Sidenote: One of the suspects in the last Britain terror attacks was Indian origin ...Indians often can look like Pakistanis and we do bring a lot of Indians here as cheap labor.....is that a concern?

It makes no sense to issue visas to Muslims, as they may be Isalmic radicals who will attack our country. Until this war is over, we should severly limit the immigration of Muslims into our country. It would make as much sense for the US to allow Muslims to immigrate here, as for Israel to allow thousands of Muslims to immigrate into their country.

First, most of the terrorists who attacked Britain were second and third generation citizens born there. The best solution in my opinion (not acceptable to some) would be to punish all their families if you could prove that the families knew they went abroad for terrorist training. Mainly seize all their buisnesses ans assets they worked for all these years and give the money to their victims, Terrorists and other criminals do not fear death themselves but certainly the welfare and proliferation of their families is a different story.
You cannot paint all peoples and cultures with the same brush, There are good and bad everywhere and when trying to bring in laws to punish everyone you are opening a whole legal can of worms. Slap penalties on countries curbing their migration 100% and they will retaliate, shut your business ventures over there, nationalize stuff etc.
Also, what is difficult is that the terrorists who come here are highly educated, speak good English and are familiar with western ways. They would never try sending an illiterate peasant from a remote farming village who has no concept of our culture and technology. All your embassy staff can do is go over people's applications and credentials with more vigilance and keep and above all, keep tabs on citizens born here and send spies or informants into their areas much like you did with the KKK in the past.

The terrorists can fly to Mexico and cross the border, just like the Fort Dix Six. Issuing Visas to students is a great way to prevent terrorism and create more friendships abroad. I knew plenty of Mid-Eastern student when I was in college and they all loved America.

We can't just stop giving Visas to those countries based on possible terrorism....That's racist. You can't just look at a pakistani or iraqi and assume they are a terrorist. It just isn't right. They just need to screen those that are coming in from that country with background checks etc....

It is Islamic people that will bring freedom of speech and religious tolerance to Islam. We can only foster it.
