I lost My dad I would have loved to have one more moment To tell him I love him with all my heart that I will miss him and think of him offen And I know he will be watching me from Heaven!

I lost my dad 9 years ago. He was sick for a long time and I always told him I loved him and how important he was to me but I still don't feel like I said it enough. When he died, my brother, sister and I were all adults but none of us were married or had kids. Now I wish I could have one more moment with him to crawl up into bed with him and watch a
Red Wings game or a National Geographic and to ask him what he would want me to tell my kids about him, about life. I feel like he can see the life I have and I'm sure he's proud of me but now I grieve for all the memories we never got a chance to make.

Say you love them. You don't have to like your mother or father to love them. I know I don't like my father, I think he sucks at being a father and a family man, but I love him for the person he is and for trying the only way he knows how.
Thank them for being your parent and you are happy that you got to share your lives with each other.

only you know that answer. all i can say is it's not the quantity of time u spend with them but the quality. show them how you feel. i know it's tough, but be strong. make happy memories that you will be able to cherish for a lifetime. ask them to write you a letter that you will not open till they are gone. ask them what their wishes are... give them the last chance to fulfill any dreams they have. you never know... you just might be able to make their last days the happiest. remember they are just as scared of losing you as you are losing them.

That I love them, will miss them, thank you for everything they've done and given up for me. I'm sure there would be alot more but that's the main thing I'd want to say.

thank them for all they've done....tell them you love them very much....tell them you'll miss every moment that they aren't around....tell them you can't wait to meet them on the other side with the rest of the family or loved ones that have pased.....if there have been any hard feelings let them know they're gone.....don't let a loved one die before they know they are forgiven for something or that it was okay they did something that hurt you....or vice versa.....just don't let them die before they know that you love them, you'll regret it.
