I really freak out and when the day of the interview comes, I try to be pleasant, but Im sure I look nervous. I never really know wat to say. Can anyone help me plz?? How do i leave the anxiety behind, and ACT the part?

You need to learn to be more secure in your own worth. Most people are a little nervous during and interview. Try looking at it from a different point of view - they are not just interviewing you, you are interviewing them - is that company worthy of your skills, does that company offer you what you feel is fair, does that company have a nice work environment and friendly people?

Read a book or two on building self-esteem. You don't say how old you are, but with age comes experience and with experience comes self-confidence.

Take a couple of deep breaths before heading into the interview. Have your own questions for them written down so you can refer to them, and take notes on what the interviewer says to you. Try the technique of faking it till you make it - pretend you're self-confident! You can do it! Good luck!

have a friend role play with you for several days before the interview, so you are used to being questioned and the setting isn't so intimidating. Then the morning of, keep telling yourself, out loud if necessary, that you are a valuable person, and you have alot to offer. Do not listen to that voice inside that tells you that you are not, just keep on telling yourself that you are valuable and have a lot to offer. Say it out loud if you need to, to drown out that other voice.

I know how you feel. I think for the most part this is something people grow out of. The only advice I can give you is believe in yourself.
