As they say, "The proof of the pudding is in the eating."
In other words, if Jesus can not take away our sins, if He can not cleanse our hearts, if He can not reconcile us back to God, then the words of the Bible are not true.
The fact that the Bible has, indeed, made a major difference in multitudes of lives is the proof.
And, by the way, Truth is not dependent on you or what you believe. Truth IS, and it CAN be known. In fact, Jesus said "I am Truth", so Truth is not found data, but in a person - Jesus Christ. He's waiting for you to call on Him.

The Bible has truth in it, but it also contains man made information. The Bible Code is concrete evidence of Gods existence.

How do you trust what is written in the Bible? I would like to direct your attention to the book of Daniel. Start with Daniel 2 and 3. The predictions stated are very quickly fulfilled in chapter 5. Also, look to world history for these fulfillment's, as well.
Much more can be said.
GOD bless

The words of the Bible have been tampered with. It's a watered down version of proof with many contradictions. Proof is found in the eye of the interpreter. That's why there are so many different forms of Christianity.

the proof is in the bible. and speaking in tongues, a totally legit supernatural phenomena that can't possibly be explained.
there is only one truth in this world. the bible. and the truth is not in the eye of the beholder, unless god is that beholder.
and if you tell me otherwise, I'll just put my hands over my ears and scream real loud. then begin chanting.

Truth is objective, and people with an emotional investment in the Bible cannot be objective about it. Hence, to them it is true, on a subjective level.
The only problem arises when they insist that everyone else accept it as objective truth.

No, truth is not in the eye of the beholder.
The entire Bible is not true, but what Jesus says is good...try living that and see what happens.

Proof is supplied by the Holy Spirit through faith. If you look at all the corrobrative evidence, there is plenty to at least seed your thoughts towards belief in God and his only son Jesus.
