Nutrition and physical activities.
You should decide how many calories you want in your diet, and then I would recomend looking for items that are low calorie, but also low fat, but it all depends on what you are doing for your diet. The main thing for a diet to work is just to consume fewer calories than what you are burning, so lower calorie is best. But the thing about just lower calorie is that you don't want to get something that is lower calorie, but still has a ton of fat, and you don't want to get something that is low calorie but with a ton of sugar. Just look at the labels and you need to figure out what fits into YOUR diet

IDK if you are male or female, but that doesn't really matter. Whatever you do, DON'T DIET! You are still growing and you need to eat in order to receive your protien, calories, good fats and good cholesterol.
If you are eating a lot of junk food, of course you should cut that out of your diet. Reduce the intake of refined sugars that are in cookies, cupcakes, brownies, etc. Grab a price of fruit instead. You still get the sweet, not all the calories.
Eliminate chips, pretzles and other salty foods. Steer clear from soda. Nothing but empty calories there!
All you really have to do is get active! Instead of playing video or computer games, get outside and take a walk or jog. If you have a sport you enjoy, play that...even something as simple as badmitton in your back yard will burn calories. (I know that sounds dorky, but you get the idea!). You can swim, bike, roller skate, walk your dog, hike, or skateboard. All of those activities can be done for practically nothing in your neighborhood or at a local park/people trail.
Make it a social thing! Invite friends to do those things with you. It's always easier with a pal.
Good luck! :-)

Eat only when hungry and not more than thrice a day. Nothing other than water in between. Include plenty of uncooked vegetables and fruits in each meal, preferably 50%. Chew each morsel at least 32 times to activate ur body to generate signals of hunger/fullness. Obey these signals.
Take light exercises and brisk walks regularly preferably twice a day.
U will achieve what u have not even dreamt and that too in a reasonable time. Do not be in a hurry.

Do what interests you. If you like playing video games, try doing DDR or other active games. If you like sports, get more involved or go to the rec center. If you like to shop, go to the mall and walk around a couple of times before you buy.
