Could I still be a good, well-respected surgeon, even if I'm from Indiana? Because supposedly, people from Indiana are "dumb"... v.v Like, are there any famous or well-known, good surgeons from Indiana that I could see as a role-model? And does Indiana have alot of surgeons? Or is it like the least likely place to produce surgeons. I mean, like, are the LEAST amount of surgeons from Indiana? Or are there alot of surgeone in Indiana? I'm really paranoid that because I'm from Indiana, I won't make a good surgeon...

Never heard the stereotype that people "from" Indiana are dumb.....I have seen dumb people from other states as well! Everyone is "dumb" in one way or the other.
To make yourself appear "less dumb" try spelling correctly! That will make you seem a lot smarter!!!! Misspelling small words is atrocious!
Ever heard of Indiana University Medical Center????? It is a renown medical facility! Check it out!

Are you serious? Well, I am not a surgeon, and although I just moved to Indiana I can say that I don't believe
that sterotype at all!! We live by Indiana University and there are lots of smart people and doctors...I haven't needed a surgeon lately...hope not to. But I am sure there are many surgeons who are well respected from Indiana...I have also Lived in New England where lots of REALLY smart educated people are....big universities cranking out surgeons of all sorts and sizes..I prefer Indiana. The Clarian Transplant Center at the Indiana University Medical Center does more liver transplants than all but one or two other centers in the world. I don't know where you got the idea that people from Indiana are considered dumb. I thought that was West Virginia. Actually you don't sound like a doctor. That's not the kind of question I would expect a doctor to ask.

It doesn't matter where you are from. If you know what you want to do then do it. There is bad and good Surgeons in every race. If you want to be a surgeon go for it. Just do your best so that you can become the best.
