An angel or any other rational creature considered in his own nature, can sin; and to whatever creature it belongs not to sin, such creature has it as a gift of grace, and not from the condition of nature. The reason of this is, because sinning is nothing else than a deviation from that rectitude which an act ought to have; whether we speak of sin in nature, art, or morals. That act alone, the rule of which is the very virtue of the agent, can never fall short of rectitude. Were the craftsman's hand the rule itself engraving, he could not engrave the wood otherwise than rightly; but if the rightness of engraving be judged by another rule, then the engraving may be right or faulty."

The question you asked has been answered many times. In your bible the angels came to earth had sex with the women and children were brought forth. They were mutated freaks of nature. Lots of stories were told about visits that went bad so take the angels off your all are good guy list. Also a all loving god all wise who gets mad at his children and kills them or threatens them into hell and damnation if they don't obey his commands. Not a nice father is he. Oh yes what are the sins they spoke about?/

According to the Bible, Lucifer rebelled against God by refusing to bow down and worship Man, which God had commanded the angels to do. Therefore he, and those who rebelled with him, were cast out of Heaven.

Yeah, I just realized that. Angels were said to have no free will.
So that presents an interesting concundrum. Lucifer was the first angel to rebel against God and presents free will in doing so.
And 1/3 of the angels followed Lucifer, thereby presenting more free will.
When they were thrown from Heaven, they came here to earth. Since being on the mortal plane, they became mortal themselves......still following me? Good. Since they were mortal, they could reproduce.
Hence, humans are the offspring of the fallen angels.....with God being not the father, but grandfather. And THAT is why we have free will, not because God gave it to us, but because of what Lucifer and his angels did.
Ofcourse, you have to believe all this actually exists. lol It is a fun theory though.

The angel who became known as Satan(meaning resister)and Devil(meaning Slanderer),envied the worship Jehovah received from his human creation.
James 1:14,15 explains what happened:"Each one is tried by being drawn out and enticed by his own desire. Then the desire, when it becomes fertile, gives birth to sin,in turn, sin, when it has been accomplished brings forth death".
Satan allowed this wrongful desire to cloud his judgement and we are to this day still paying for it

Satan called into question God's sovereignty, or his right to rule. He was a rebellious son, charging that he could do a better job than God. He told Eve that God had lied to her. She was deceived but Adam was not and openly rebelled also.
Because of his rebellion we all die.
Isn't that enough to make you hate Satan?

Angels, like humans are given free will. Above mindless devotion, God desires to be loved. Love can not exist where there is not the ability to say no. If I can't say no to you, then I can't love you.

Satan's sin was pride. He thought himself equal with God.

That is just a story of "Paradise Lost" by Milton. Satan who was made of fire, among Jins family. He reached to higher grades by his worship. but when he saw God has made his deputy from clay, Adam, then he disobeyed the order to bow before Adam for respect. That's all, there is nothing about angels. They were obedient, remained obedient and will remain sooooooooo...............

Well, that is how Satan came to be. He was one of God's most beloved angels before he fell from grace
