Yes. Just right click on the little tab, itself, and you'll be able to do it. On the right click menu it will say "tab color." Select that and choose your color.

Well, maybe that's the color of the tab, but I don't know about the font color ON the tab. HOWEVER, if you choose a dark color such as Navy Blue, the font will appear in white, from what I can tell.

You can change the color of the tab itself, but not the text on the tab.

To assign a color to a worksheet tab, right-click the tab and choose Tab Color from its shortcut menu to open the Format Tab Color dialog box. Click the color that you want to assign to the selected sheet tab in the Format Tab Color dialog box, and then click OK. When the Format Tab Color dialog box disappears, the name of the active sheet tab appears underlined in the color you just selected. When you make another sheet tab active, the entire tab takes on the assigned color (and the text of the tab name changes to white if the selected color is sufficiently dark that black lettering is impossible to read).

Right click on the tab and select "Tab Color".

I think the font itself changes with the tab color.

Yes, highlight all the cells whose color you want to change. Then up top choose format, then cells, then font and in the middle is the color choices.
