Try department of Revenue for MI.

I don't believe the State IRS in any State, keeps the records for over 3 years, but you can try contacting the Mi. IRS and ask them. They have a web site, perhaps you could send them an e-mail and see if those forms still exist.

You can submit your request to the Michigan Tax Department via e-mail. The address is treasIndTax@michigan.gov

Be aware, a 35 year old tax file will not be easily located. You may spend quite some time doing this search. Good luck.

It's unlikely that you can, it's so old, but you could ask the MI tax department.
