We have been counted as righteous only because of the blood of Christ.

Righteousness was imputed to us at the cross. Remember the scripture in Romans 4? "Abraham believed God and it was credited to him as righteousness" That was Paul quoting the OT (Genesis)

Our faith & belief in Christ gives us the righteousness we need when the time comes to face the Lord

Through our own actions we can never stand before God because of our sin. Everyone falls short of the glory of God.

God gives grace, not wages (not an income) Everything He gives you is a gift not something you deserve. Grace that redeems. The penalty is gone. Apart from Christ we belong to the Kingdom of darkness. But, when we have FAITH in Jesus, as Lord, we are redeemed by the power of the blood he shed on the cross.

God demands penalty for sin. It should be each one of us that died on the cross. We have nothing to offer that God hasn't given us. It is only though faith that we are made "RIGHT" with God.

It is called Grace. Freely bestowed on all who believe. No wonder we call it "amazing" grace. Sin has no power over you when you are in God's grace. God loves you and God will forgive you if you will just take his word seriously and come to Him.

In Christ, God makes us righteous. That is the power of the gospel.

If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. (Romans 10:9)

Righteousness by faith is believing in 2 Corinthians 5:21 "For He made Him (Jesus) who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him." Christians stand by faith in God's righteousness in Christ before God and not in their self righteousness by works under the law of Moses.

What Jesus did was trade records with all who place their faith in Him. Our sins were placed on His. That's why He had to pay for them. His righteousness was placed on our record. So God sees all those who have trusted Christ as righteous.

No man is righteous as all are sinners. But men by their faith in GOD can only become righteous by the righteousness of THE LORD GOD or enrobed of the righteousness of THE LORD GOD. It is because the righteousness of THE LORD GOD will endure forever and HIS salvation will never end. As in my personal experience of being enrobed of the righteousness of THE LORD GOD-THE LORD JESUS CHRIST was that a friend of mine dreamt in May 2004 of heaven and saw there my Book fo Life (my name written on it) and the elders thereat who were at a speaking distance and my friend declared my righteousness from heaven thus, I was enrobed of the righteousness of THE LORD GOD and as it was through the Prophets and Saints-THE ELDERS; it was through THE HOLY SPIRIT. THANKS GOD; FEAR GOD; PRAISE GOD; GLORIFY GOD; HONOR GOD; LOVE GOD AND WORSHIP GOD.Pls visit my website-http://groups.yahoo.com/group@THEGOODNEWSOFTHEKIGDOM/

It is a good thing to have faith in God. You are only committing sin against God of cursing him.

God only needs to be capitalized if it is being used as a proper name. "An immortal god" needs not, because of the use of the article "an".

No soup for you!

The NT says many times, after Jesus' baptism, that baptism by the Father, Son and Holy Ghost is necessary for salvation.
