People usually demand a beginning, so in the beginning there was a sea of spirit and it filled all of space. The spirit was static, content, and aware of itself. It was a giant resting on the bosom of its thought and contemplating what it is. Then the spirit moved into action. It withdrew into itself until all of space was empty. In the center, the restless mind of the spirit shone. This was the beginning of the individuality of the spirit. This was what the spirit discovered itself to be when it awakened. This spirit was God. God desired self-expression and desired companionship; therefore, God projected the cosmos and souls. The cosmos was built with music, arithmetic, geometry, harmony, system, and balance. The building blocks were all of the same material - the life essence. It was the power of God that changed the length of its wave and the rate of its vibration which created the patterns for multitudes of forms. This action resulted in the law of diversity which supplied endless patterns. God played on this law of diversity as a pianist plays on a piano - producing melodies and arranging them in a symphony. Each design carried within it the plan for its evolution. This plan corresponds to the sound of a note struck on a piano. The sounds of several notes unite to make a chord; chords in turn become phrases; phrases become melodies; melodies intermingle and move back and forth, across and between and around each other, to make a symphony. Then in the end, the music will stop and the physical universe will be no more; but between the beginning and the finish of the music there was glorious beauty and a glorious experience. The spiritual universe will continue.

I think God is very disappointed with the state of his church. So many denominations have tried to help God out by making up rules and rituals that are not needed. It's truly sad. What's worse is that it confuses non-Christians and makes it seem as if God doesn't know what he's doing when it's people that are at fault.

I don't know that he would. Here's why: if people are speaking falsely about his likes and dislikes, and he is annoyed, then it is his responsibility to set the record straight by being direct in telling who he is. If he leaves it up to guesswork, then I would think he'd be amused to find what people feel that he is like. Almost like a teacher letting kids write an essay for class. Give them a topic and see what they can BS and come up with.
Blessings in the Light of Christ!

Good point. The problem is that the Bible is so vague and twisted on some topics that Christians have no choice but to speak for God. Christians say what they think is true and then say that it is what God thinks too. The truth is that the God they believe in does not exist, so they can make him say whatever they want him to say.

Personally, I don't think God has time to worry about individual phobias and neurosis. He has set forth the right way to behave and act. If we do not do that, who is there to blame?
Maybe he has a sense of humor and finds it amusing that we run around like little demi gods feinging that we know what he does and doesnt like or, for that matter, who he is.
Presumptive? Yes, I think that would be correct.

The difference between explaining Gods teachings and creating a platform for your own opinions within Gods teachings, is a thin one.
And those who play the thin line usually follow the following rule: speak less and listen more.

If the God you believe in is the God of the Bible no - not if you are getting the message out that he told you to get out.
If they are answering about what they think God would think about a certain situation hopefully they cite a Bible passage to support such a claim.

No. THE LORD GOD is not annoyed at all. It is because the righteousness of THE LORD GOD-THE LORD JESUS CHRIST will endure forever and HIS salvation (free men from sins) will never end. Men who are presumptuous and arrogant are actually deceived by satan and they commit sins and errors and thus, suffer the consequences of their actions.
As they suffer, on the other side of the THE BOOK OF THE KNOWLEDGE OF GOOD AND EVIL is THE HOLY SPIRIT the comforter and leads the suffering men to partake of the honor and glory of the suffering servant -THE LORD JESUS CHRIST who by HIS passion on the cross and death earned through HIS spiritual works the redemption and salvation of all men. Similarly, those suffering men through their spiritual works also earn their spirit of deposit of guarantee so that in the coming kingdom of heaven when men will be born in the spirit they will metamorphose into angel-like being.

They disguise their own needs by using his book to speak for him, and forgetting all the parts in it that they don't like. Selective theism.
