I am looking to purchase a used BMW (a 1994 325), and it comes with a CD changer that the seller (2nd owner) doesn't know how to use. It is loaded in the trunk. That's all I know.

Can anyone help?

If the cd changer is stock, then you'll need the stock radio to use it. If is an aftermarket changer, it should have a control somewhere in the dash or could be connected to the aux input of the receiver of the same brand compatible.

Is there a brand or model number label on the changer?

Does it include a control unit mounted near the radio?

Is the vehicle equipped with the original radio?

If it's a BMW factory changer, your best bet is to stop by a local dealer and order an owner's manual. If it's aftermarket, you can probably download a manual online if you have the model number.
