Sounds like a horror movie to me ... yuck ... eating the brain while the poor monkey is still alive (even if 'drunk') ... I don't think that can be classed as 'intelligent' :(

'After eating the brain of any animal, the nutrients can neither be absorbed into the human brain, nor make people smarter.'

Is it not an 'urban myth' ? (report is dated 1998)

In Indiana they actually serve a fried brain sand which. Off the top of my head, I can't remember if it is made from a cow or sheep.
But to answer your question just because your eating a part of an organ is not going to improve the same organ other then the nutritional value that the food has itself.

No. Eating brains has no effect on your/our intelligence. Mad cow disease in not limited to cows. The early cases were found in cannibals on Papua New Guinea. The protein-like compound (prion) indicated in the disease has been found in several hoofed animal some of these include: bovine (cows), porcine (pigs), sheep. And although it can be in any part of the body, the prion is found clustered in the brain.
Mad cow diease may not present itself for years after injestion of the diease causing chemical and has no cure.

No, there is no intelligence in any form eating brains.

Enjoy

Would YOU want to have a monkey's brains? I really don't think they are all that clever.

However, there is something in fish oil that contributes to brain power... some omega fatty acid or vitamins. So eat your fish for brain food!

Even if it does make you smarter, I think I'll just go the old route by reading and studying.

in school we watched a flatworm learn to navigate a maze. we later fed the educated worm to another flatworm and it navigated the maze without flaw on its first attempt.... Draw your own conclusions, I did.
