Depends on who the enemy is. If it is a radical terrorist who thinks that by killing me and everyone around me including himself, is going to get him a reward from god, then a soldier. Because there is no form politicking that can combat that form of enemy.

All politicians do is sit behind a desk talking about nonsense.
I'd go with a soldier. They're trained for situations like that.

I'll take a pissed off Marine over a grinning politician any day. And since we're on this topic, we could use more military men in congress and less ivy leaguers.

i would choose the solider my husband is one he is my hero and my life i might choose both though to use the politican as a shield because all politicians lie some are just simply better than others

just give me a SA80 though to be honest i suppose i am a wee bit out of practice with one of those, but i'd want a few members of the Special Air Service, that would make anyone feel safe, and if you ask them what their name is while their all clad up in CT gear they all say 'john'
