It emerged because of its being pronounced by some people as kind o'.

nowadays there r some girls with this name
but in the history KINDA was a kingdom name (before the Islam) it was the name of the man who institute this kingdom
so his real name was "thaour" but they named him KINDA because he disbelieve in his father affluence so in Arabic he"kannada abah" so that's the meaning of the name
another example is in the Koran it say "ina alensan lerabehee la KANOD" its mean the human is not believe in Allah affluence
