Depends what it's for. If it's for gaming, PC monitor and TV with the best resolution:
get HD Ready with HDMI, PC and Scart connections. Top of the range would be 1080p resolution.

You'll pay a pretty penny for a 37" LCD tv though!

check amazon.co.uk

a good software engine
contrast ratio
brightness ratio

hd ready ( not many that aren't these days )
if hd ready then you will get hdmi port

samsung and toshiba are the best 37" lcd on the market

which and what video have given then great reviews.

don't bother with them its all a ploy to make you upgrade... because they make a lot of money from scrapped old ones..

i bought a 32" lcd tv a month ago and already i have a dead pixel (black spot) on the middle of the screen.

Tv looks terrible its all pixelated and sketchy and the colours look too obscure.. (and no its not just the colour settings)

the only thing that looks slightly better is my xbox.. otherwise id just stick with my old tv... wait till they are alot cheaper...

its not worth the jump till they make hd ready tv signals which will probably never happen. the only way you can get it is via sky hd etc.. and it costs loads..
