Go onto the internet to the official USMC website and e-mail the recruiters. They will send you tons of info and a recruiter will contact you. The Corps has recrutiers in the Pacific and one will come out to visit you at no cost to you. When you first see the recruiter, have your dad go with you so there is no bull. Good luck and thanks for wanting to join the military.

Don't trust anybody and certainly not a lying Recruiter. I was in the Service and these Recruiters need to maintain a quota and will tell you what you want to hear. A friend of mine many years back needed a roomate and a supposed tough boy Marine Reservist moved in and this Marine who acted all rough and tough ended up being a flaming Homosexual, taking showers with other men, etc.. My friend had a hard time kicking this homo Marine out. So, be weary of all that tough guy act you just might find a homo hidden in there somewhere.

That's pretty rude that your father doesn't want to help you out. Maybe you could phone up another recruiter...maybe from the Navy. He/she could possibly help you out with your Marine recruiter problem and possibly arrange something for you.
Or! Here is the Marine Corps website. I'm sure it will give you some helpful hints, and some phone numbers for you to call about more information from a recruiter state side. There's also a section where you can request information through from a recruiter.

You have to ask your father for info for the reserve recruiter. Then he can get you info on joining. They should have that recruiter on Camp Foster.
