You try to explain things and most of the people that answer don't believe you and make rude comments or are disrespectful

Have you not got a heart when answering a question on Religion, do you have to make snide remarks and say untruthful things, what fun do you get out of it?

This is only for the people who are rude and disrepectful, not everyone fits in that catergory

I completely understand what you are saying. I am not answering many questions lately because it's obvious they are meant to be inflammatory and the asker wants to start trouble more than they want to learn. It's a sad world we live in.

My friend that is just a standard effect pr result that comes with the territory. I accept the view that there is no promise that it will be smooth and easy for any who desire to do the right thing. It cost our Lord Jesus his life, so I just accept that anyone who does try to do as he asks will also pay dearly for such a concept.

I find my peace in the fact that in my view I am doing what I feel I an instructed to do and that the promise is true about eternity. I just accept what is thrown and try to turn the other cheek, even when it is hard. Yes, I want to jump on that vengeance band wagon and fire back, but sometimes I am able to let the little right in me stop before I do it again.

My friend, Just keep up the good fight and just Let your God do the rest, OK

What is the point of trying? Well, that depends on what your ultimate goal is. If your goal is to enlighten, or share the joys you have found in your life with others, then this is the point of trying. Religion is a hotbed subject which has been debated on different levels since the beginning of time. There will always be people who will deride your faith, or contest your opinions. The question is, does it really matter that people do not agree with you, so long as you are secure in your beliefs? Trust me when I tell you that you will not sway many of these people as their particular beliefs on the subject may be just as strong as yours. Unfortunately many of them just do not express themselves in a polite manner. What you do not know is how many people you might reach with your words who never choose to make themselves known. These people are the point.

That's why I hardly ever post a religious question, coz I know stupid ignorant people will come along and post stupid ignorant answers. They have no respect at all. They think it's funny to insult another persons beliefs. Stupid fools.

Ok i am only gunna say this once... both sides (nonbelievers and believers) are trying to force each others ideas into each other. When you dont need to discuss such matter. Its like debating if santa claus is real or not. well depends what you believe of course... to a kid... then santa would be real. to a person of science then santa is ur dad dressed in a red suit at christmas.

I'm right there with you.

What drives me nuts is when I answer a question directed at Christians, using scripture when necessary, and then the asker gets mad that Christians answered and used scripture.

*Sigh*

Oh well.
