It was STRICTLY platonic. Jesus preferred the company of His boyz, and Mary was just a misguided groupie. They *were* known to braid each other's hair, on occasion, but only as friends.

OK ...I am a Christian.....If Jesus and Mary were companions as the bible says. Why do people flip out at the idea they may have been married? Jesus experienced every human emotion while being here. Why is it inconceivable to some that he could have been married? In the text it says companion ...indeed it means spouse according to biblical history. Why would it make him any less a savior or Lord if he be married? I believe it would have made him even more understanding to our human needs for love. After I watched the Devinci Code, I went to the library and checked out a book about the Dead Sea Scroll. That is what Christianity is based on. I only found more questions than answers. I am not disclaiming the bible, I am saying I think so much of the original text is lost and incomplete that we do not get all the info. Which dose not mean the bible isn't true. I believe the Holy Spirit concludes the missing gaps......which is one reason it is so important to keep our hearts soft and listen to him. The Holy spirit is our guide at this point, because all the original text has to be translated. I wonder if Mary and Jesus were not married. And if so I think it was wonderful, not corruption. Why couldn't he have found his true love and be happy? Because a bunch of male chauvinists wanted to shut her up, and keep women in line of submission? I do not think our Father in heaven was pleased that day. He wants all of us.........male and female to submit to him. There is no account in the Bible that denies or supports Jesus and Mary was married. Only it alludes to it. Personally it doesn't matter to me either way. I still believe Christ died for me on the cross and love him for it.

Jesus was God and had compassionate heart, he hated none.
He was , once raoming around and tired , rested under a tree , and Marry Magdelene saw Him ,who was so serene , peaceful, and so young... she was a prostitute and fallen woman.. she offered herself to Him.. but Jesus was not moved by this
She brought the best perfume and poured at the feet of the Jesus to show her reverence to Jesus
When Jesus was crusified.. , it was Mary Magdelene who brought Jesus down from the cross
This was the relationship of Mary with Jesus..

WHAT!?!?!?! Noah have been given 10 rules? Ah, would desire to've been Moses crusing the affection Ark then. Dude, till you recognize what you're speaking approximately, do not talk approximately it. Jesus became sinless so as meaning he did not have any kind of dating that ran counter to God's will. If, and that's a huge IF, he became in a dating together with her, it became by making use of marriage. There are theories that she became not a whore in any respect yet that for the duration of the canonization of scripture, there became enhancing to repaint that photograph. As i think of on that, it might advise that there are different components of canonized scripture that are deceptive to boot which might get rid of the infallibility of the be conscious. hence, the story as defined in the Gospels is perhaps as precise because it gets.

One thing can be said about the relationship between Jesus and Mary M. --and it is that Jesus did not judge or hate anyone, nor did he condemn others when the rest of society did. Jesus was not a hypocrite. Men say they love when they really hate. It is not known fully how close Jesus was to Mary M. but even if he had sex with her, it would not be my place to judge him. Judge not, that ye shall not be judged. Smart man!

In fact nothing is KNOWN only assumed. If society has given us any indicators then this can only be the only answer. This kind man with a new ideology said first do no harm! he fed the poor, attended weddings, drank and helped create wine, helped who he could, had a great group of friends who roughly believed in the same stuff as he, and helped tell others of a great way to live life. Also he was straight! he did wash the feet of his Friends but as a leveller and he taught that the family was paramount. He was human like the rest of us and in his mid twenty's to early thirties travelled the world. He didn't only have a normal relationship with the one 'reported' female in his life I would say it would be fair to assume that he had quite an extended family, as do a lot. That's all there is to it.

This is a hard question and boy it opens allot of religion buffs answering.
Looking at the replies and the thumbs up and down for them it really is a toughie.
Yes they were married but unless you lived in that time and knew them personally then you don't know.
I know that it is very hard to trust any documentation of any ethnicity. Where are the photos! Yep there were non, and can you believe all you read, i know i don't.
Can you honestly say Jesus was white, or was he black.
I AM NOT RACIST. What language did they speak, what colour was there hair and so on and so forth.
I am making a point.
Like i said a very hard one to be honest with you, only they knew what type of relationship they had.
Like any married couple it is all behind closed doors, and so it should be.

Is there any definitive answer to this one. There are so many answers and as I read them I also wonder what the source is. Is there any truly reliable source that can answer this question. I do believe that they were bonded together, was it as friends, spouses (what was the meaning of spouse during that time frame, gf/bf, who can accurately tell ? Just as in our times all people that are sent into our lives are there for a purpose and sent to us from a higher source as I believe that Mary Magdalene was sent to Jesus from God for a higher purpose.

I don't think that Jesus and Mary Magdalene has a romantic relationship. there are different ways to love people.
I have some dear men in my life that are like brothers and best friend.
I have one friend Neal who knows me better and he understands me better than anyone, he has the gift of counsel and his love for me his pure
i don't have romantic love for him
Would you not love and be thankful for someone who change your life and cast 7 demons out. raised her brother from the dead, who ah, what a savior!
The bible said that Jesus was without sin, and he who knew no sin became the sacrificial lamb for my sins,
she understood who he was, she believed!

I think it is summed up in John 20:16; '... Jesus said to her, “Mary” She turned and said to Him in Hebrew, Rabboni' (which means, Teacher).
