Our foreign policy, we waste to much money on issues abroad, Wars for one, this money would be better spent on Health and education for the people of the UK to improve our lives !! :)

I would sort out my own country first before setting off on some crusade to teach African kids to read and write.
I would tear up the Human Rights act as it is the most dangerous piece of legislation in living history.
Close the borders to all non UK nationals coming in and send the ones that are here without good reason back to place of origin. This in turn would bring house prices down as demand would be lower
Revamp our old Army camps into prisons to ease the stress on the existing prison service. Also start using prison ships.
Review the NHS, get rid of the un necessary middle managers and funnel the proceeds to the front line staff who are desperately short on equipment and give them a well deserved pay increase.
Return the Police from being a service back into a force and give them whatever they want to function. They want unspecified lengths of time to build a case against a terrorist. Give it them.
Introduce American style rights for a citizen to defend himself and his property. If that means using deadly force then so be it.
Scrap the rubbish trendy teaching methods in schools and go back to old fashioned methods where literacy and numeracy are paramount.. National pride and British history would also be on the curriculum.
I could go on forever.
Isn't idealism brilliant?

I would look into the cost/effectiveness of the administration of government departments, starting with my own office and then ministers offices. and spread it through quickly to other departments. Take action quckly on the results as they become available. Mistakes will be made. At the same same I would want local authorities to do the same. A slogan of who rules the Government or the Civil Service on a snp election if need be. It may well come unstuck due to entenched interests but I'd give'em a bruising thay'd never forget

Make the tax on your income smaller, do away with road tax and incorporate a percentage in the petrol price to deal with our shocking roads!! Too many people are getting away with not taxing their cars, it's time to make sure that if you use the roads, then you have to pay!! I would also get a normal wee person in to manage the benefits system. I am totally fed up working forty hours a week to keep the lazy spongers in drink and ciggies!! It's time to get real and shove the eejits who are claiming unlawfully, out to grass!! (we all know who they are, but nothing gets done)

I would start to fine those people who call doctors out in the middle of the night because their little finger hurts, or they have the hickups.
I would look at the cost of physiotherapy...I broke my arm last year...i was told I would probably not get full useage out of it again. I was put onto a list for physio...I must have been forgotten or something...I did not get an appointment...I yhought it was a minor problem...as I was not waiting for cancer opperations, did not have renal failure, and have a healthy heart...so I asked people who had had a break...what were the moves used in physio. I was shown by numerous people...together with books from the library...I did the physio...and now my arm is nearly as good as new. even better than expected. Lets produce basic physio workouts on dvd and give them out...with shorter sessions. and fewer. It would save millions...and loads of other stuff. Do not demand expensive meals in hospital, they should be sufficient, nutritionally balanced and basic...its not a bloody hotel. It would save millions. Wash all staff clothes on site, Doctors and nurses, and cleaners should not go home on urine stained bus seats in their uniforms. who is to tell wether they are washed every night? And who knows if they have been boiled...they will not have been, so lets have a central laundry for uniforms, it would be a major factor in stopping cross infection. (MRSA) It would save millions.
Stop the use of carpets in hospitals...only idiots put carpets into an area that needs bleaching and disinfecting. It would save millions.
Stop the use of curtains in hospitals...hands that have touched a patient, drawing the curtains...then touching the next patient NICE!!!!????!!!! There should be privacy height partitions, if cubicles are not possible, that can be cleaned down daily. The curtains in hospitals are washed once in a blue moon....do you want those curtains around you??? and take no notice of the "silver" content in fabric designed to kill germs...that effect is minimal. Stopping MRSA would save millions.
what we have to understand is that there is not enough money to provide exactly what we want, therefore we must economise....stop the time wasters, buy more dialasis machines and premature baby incubators. Train our nurses to feed our old people in hospital. Look at where people are using the NHS as a joke. Stop the drunks and their freinds from using the waiting rooms as urinals and boxing rings. Police should be trained to deal with drunks....if neccessary then the police should take them to casualty. (Not often needed in reality) It would save hours of medical staffs time, ultimately saving millions.
Titivation in hospitals stopped...these are utilitarian buildings that are needed in an emergency.....Good, basic, strong buildings, easily kept clean are a priority. Expalin to the public that these building are there to cure, and hopefully cure as many people as possible. Stop the cruelty of the post code lottery....prescribe the drug that will do the best for the patient, not one that will give the best back-hander to the doctors. And not to refuse on the grounds of cost. All you pratts out there stop wasting NHS funds, and give the woman with cancer and 3 small children a drug that will give her a chance. You time wasters are ultimately giving death sentences to people you are taking their health care from.
And that is what I would do on the first day.
WOULD YOU VOTE FOR ME?????

I would charge each and every adult in this country £1 tax per week( I mean scrap the old system first ) we are being taxed left right and centre in this country , also, \I would not send money to third world countries, you may think that i'm being hard, but think about it, there are people over here who are dying, we have had severe flooding, pensioners having to choose wether to turn up their heating in winter or buy food, we should help our own people before we start sending money to help other countries.

i would accept that evolution has made that there is no longer sufficient jobs for all and that the cost of living is extremely high for many and accordingly raise the level of assistance available. It is as natural as Maslow enterpreted, life will at times seek any opportunity in order to secure the basics, food shelter and security. Is it really a wonder why our prisons are over crowded?

Engage spiritual masters, who could bring peace to the minds of people.
Encourage spiritual practises in education system.
Stressed and agitated minds r the reason for most of the ills of the world.
