the best place to get it done would be a professional piercing studio and look for certificates and check if it's clean. the doctors don't do it I'm afraid the navel is a straight forward piercing and if you take care of it properly it wont get infected.clean it with warm salt water 1 part sea salt and 10 part warm water.
now keep the bar you get pierced with in for about 8 to10 weeks before changing it. my friend didn't and it grew out stretching the skin

I was able to get mine done at a doctors office where he gave me an injection to numb the area before the actual piercing. If you want to know if your local doctor is able to do navel piercings just give them a call other than that get a professional to do it.

well def go to a professional i dont think doctors do it ive never heard of them doing it .. it is safe as long as you dont do it your self.. and the only places i know that do it are piercing studios.... most have both tattoos and piercings but there are a few that are just piercing they are just hard to come by

Well unless you wanna pirece your own belly button (grooossss) then you can do that. But to get it done by a pro, you gotta be 18. Sorry chicka. In my own opionion, I think its not sucha good idea. You gotta think about the cons than the pros. Like what if it gets caught on something or when your waering a tshirt it like bulges through yourshirt. Noone can see it unless your wearing a bathing suit or a short shirt. Haha sorry :/

Just make sure the needle used comes out of a pre-sealed bag that has not been open before, and the area is cleaned with alcohol, and the piercer is wearing gloves! i know sooo many girls who werent careful and got serious health problems from not cleaning it daily or not paying attention to what the piercer was doing!

Ask Claire's if they do navel piercings, or go to the Piercing Pagoda if they have it where you live. Getting infections is always a risk when body parts are pierced (I have one right now in my left ear), but if you disinfect the piercing 3 times a day with antiseptic, it should be fine.

There are piercing studio's that do not do tattoo's. Find one of those....that's where I had mine done.
Then I wised up and found a great place that I could go to for both ;o)

Claire's does not do any piercings other than ears. and most tattoo/piercing shops will say you shouldn't even get a cartilage piercing done there. i don't know of any places to get it done other than a body piercing place or doing it yourself.
