It sounds like a scam period. I'd be wary. If you want, you can be friends, but don't give her anything.
Common scams she might try are 'cash this check, keep such and such for yourself and send the rest to me' in which the check bounces, and she gets the money and you have to par or 'please send me money to go home' and she takes the money, and never talks to you again.
Be careful, and ultimately, don't trust people you meet online.

I'd be prepaired for a scam. Ask specific questions. Most of the scams are prewritten. If you can't tell by her emails that she has read your letters it's almost defeintly a scam. If she is actually reading your letters before responding there is a good chance she is for real. Most of the internet scams depend on mass mailings in hopes of catching a few dopes. So they normaly don't take the time to actually interact with people.

well, for now she hasn't asked ... so why worry ?
I would say however, that a huge % of cases I looked at where an internet meet started things off between an alleged attractive female, and an older male, did prove to be scams.
Simply put, run the pic of an attractive female thru a number of dating sites, state you are a young, struggling student from poor background - you will average 20+ hits per day.
That is 500 + a month, ask them all to help with internet fees, and later to perhaps buy a laptop, and at least 4 or 5 a month will oblige...

SCAM ARTIST. Stop emailing her right now!!! The next email you receive may have spyware or a virus attached.
This is a common scam. "Hey i'm from Nigeria. if my friend sends you a check, please cash it into your account, keep 10% of the amount and send me a check for the rest." by the time the first check bounces and the money pulled from your account, you have given the person 90% of the value of the check and they have disappeared!

Yep, a scam, you want this girl's aliases as we have at least 50 of them so far.
Life Explorer above hits the nail on the head, that's her scam.

i heard scams similar to this one i think you should find someone who is real , one you have seen her and know her very well, dont trust someone based on their look but on their personality. after all this is my opinion this is a scam.
the rest is up to you but if i was in your shoes i woudnt trust her

Oh yes. Just stay on your toes.
If she asks you for cash, turn it around and ask her for cash.
I think she will vanish and concentrate on the fourteen other guys who she is emailing right now.
Good Luck
