Old Testament; Deuteronomy 21:23 tells that, "His body (any crucified person) shall not remain all night upon the tree, but thou shalt in any wise bury him that day, (for he that is hanged is accursed of God), that thy land be not defiled, which the Lord thy God giveth thee for an inheritance". Jesus (peace be upon him), such a pious prophet, can never be cursed - for any reason. You see logic of God, there was no need to write this sentence in a heavenly book, He (God) just mentioned for His future plan. And even after His mentioning it long before, we devised the idea of atonement. For which he never knew and never mentioned. And He (Jesus) being the only Son of God was not aware of God's plan to sacrifice. And He was in agony and praying to God, it is not sacrifice just murder even if a person believes this event. And sacrifice for Adam's original sin and salvation looks strange when we read the bible itself telling him a son of God.

First of all, let's make it clear that Jesus was not crucified. He was replaced by someone who looked like him & Jesus was taken to Heaven by God.

Second of all, keeping a dead body exposed is not right. Even in Islam, it is recommended to burry a person as soon as he dies because it is better for the dead. (Ikram Al mayyet dafnuh: Meaning - Honoring a dead person is by burrying him/her).

does it bother you when people take your koran out of context to make some kind of statement, without really knowing what they're talking about? so why do muslims do the same thing with the bible? is this not hypocrisy?

read on. the bible says later that Jesus BECAME a curse for us. He willingly gave Himself up for us. He didn't have to, but He did. that's the ultimate sacrifice. Jesus was/is the spotless, blemishless Lamb of God, who ended the need for all burnt offerings and sacrifices. you missed it.

This is taken from John 2.

18 Then the Jews demanded of him, "What miraculous sign can you show us to prove your authority to do all this?" 19 Jesus answered them, "Destroy this temple, and I will raise it again in three days." 20 The Jews replied, "It has taken forty-six years to build this temple, and you are going to raise it in three days?" 21 But the temple he had spoken of was his body. 22 After he was raised from the dead, his disciples recalled what he had said. Then they believed the Scripture and the words that Jesus had spoken.

Jesus knew He is going to die. But just like anyone who will seek God during their trouble, Jesus asked God His Father when He was in agony. And it also means that though He was Son of God, His body suffered just like a human body in pain.

About me. I was born in a christian family and church&bible was boring to me until recently when God delivered me out of my bondage of sin, I feel presence of God. He is there, Jesus is there.

It means that Jesus bore the curse of sin for us on the cross so that we don't have to, when we put our trust in Him.
