There is no getting away from the fact that evolution is real.
Why couldn't god of set it up that way?

Could be, but that would undermine the Christians belief, as it was not the way it was written in the Bible ( the foundation of their faith)

There's no way the Church would approve or acknowledge that, for it would mean the masses had been decieved by the so call leaders for centuries.

Who would then believe them as fervently as the Christians are doing now

I believe that God did (and does) use evolution as a means or a tool in the same sense that he uses gravity or other known aspects and processes of the natural world to create and interact with his creation.

It is quite possible, and for the majority of Christians (Source: PFAW 2000 in Science & Spirit Sept-Oct. 2005) quite comfortable, to stand above this idiot arguement about evolution vs god. Most of the religious objections to "evolution" aren't quarrels with the technical details of biology, genetics and the trend of natural selection, but with the use that some "evolutionists" have made of these facts. Darwin and his spiritually unevolved supporters took the FACTS of evolutionary biology and interpreted them to mean that there is no god. A better approach would be to use observed facts and patterns of God's created universe to learn more about its creator. And to correct prior theological error!

A lot of people like have no idea what "Christians" reallly believe or the diversity of thought in modern mainstream Christianity. The popular culture seems to focus on the idiots. Go find a church with an active adult education program that is tolerant of seekers and explore with other people think about these ideas. It is kind of a liberating thing to actually sit in a classroom where people can talk about God and things like that.

Because God is an imbecile. Seriously, that is the only possible reason why God wouldn't use evolution.

Evolution is a fundamental fact of nature. Everything evolves over time. It is impossible for it not to.

If God didn't use evolution and instead designed everything in its modern version, then God just doesn't understand reality and all his work was a pointless waste of time accomplishing something that would have happened anyway.

Anyone who believes that God designed and created the world also believes that God is an imbecile.

Evolution is an inevitable natural phenomenon. It does not need a god. Indeed it would not work with the interference of one. And saying could god have used it is like saying could god have added with numbers - they just logically "are", they need no creator any more than natural selection does.

Whats more, the only way he could have used evolution is if the account in the Bible of creation is a lie.

The Bible states that God created the Earth and all that is on it in 6, 24 hour days. Since then natural selection has been changing alot of species slightly but only through using the genes that were already present from the beginning. No new genes have ever evolved.

I am always fond of saying that God created evolution to drop the topic and move onto something else. As a Christian we shouldn't focus on one small issue when the great commission is to let people know about Jesus as Savior of all the world.

When observing the making of a car one may see that car evolving from the mine minerals as they are extracted, processed and shaped, then transformed into a fine machinery. So in a way you may say it evolved. But in fact it was created. So is with the universe.

BECAUSE people were created in Gods image(LIKENESS), and not in the "LIKENESS"(image) of apes, monkeys, or the gorillas.

EDIT:
If you are a person who believes that people began with the evolution theories, than you might as well be a hindu because baal is a gorilla.

many feel that is exactly what happened!

I mean look at it, if you take it with moderate inteperetation, it fits perfectly

"let there be light" = big bang.

separation of light and dark = formation of stars

Firmament = formation of the planet(s)

Separation of the waters = formation of atmosphere,

"waters under the heavens gathered into one place" to expose dry land. ...

plants, water creatures, land creatures, people, = basic progression of evolution.

He could and, he did.

Creationism is irrational and illogical.

it defies Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Cosmetology, Geology and Astronomy.

To support Creationism is to go against all of scientific thought. Its simply stupid.
