You might want to read a little story called "The Boy Who Cried Wolf." I wouldn't advise believing anything our current administration says. It's been nothing but one lie after another ESPECIALLY about Iraq and Afghanistan.

The government is like a mom hiding a child from what is REALLY going on by telling them everything is OK. She doesn't tell them "Mommy and daddy got in a fight because daddy is a lying, cheating, jerk so now we're moving away to live with grandma and grandpa" Instead she says, "Don't worry sweetie, everything's fine." The government doesn't tell you "This illegal war is going nowhere, we're losing hundreds of soldiers, and we LOVE rubbing eachother's bare skin with your tax money" Instead you get "We are progressing..."
