they may or may not tell your Chain of Command. But that is irrelevant. because if you get into any more trouble.. speeding, running a stop sign, etc, It WILL come up and then you will be in for it.
Inform your CoC NOW and let them know you are taking care of it.

depends on the state, whether it get reported by the small town to the state level, and then whether the military will actually check. The best bet is to deal with it assuming you can do it without going awol. If it's a minor thing, you can usually work it out with the DA. If it's something stupid like a failure to appear on a traffic or parking ticket, then just call the court clerk, explain the sitution and pay off the fine. If it's something more serious, then try to work it out over the phone with the DA, let him know you've cleaned up your act and joined the military and would like to work something outthat won't affect your military career. Most DAs and judges will appreciate that you've done something with yourself to clean up your act and will work with you. Offer to pay fines or community service when you can take leave. If the warrant for the crime is a felony, then you can bet the military will eventually find out about it. Good luck.

Weather the state notifies the military (which someone would most likely have to inform them of your enlistment and location for that to happen) is pretty moot. You are going to have to tell your superiors about it in order to go and take care of it. Believe me when I say that it is not worth the fall out that will happen if you try to handle this without informing your chain of command. How the military reacts will depend largely on what the warrant is for. If it is for criminal charges, you will be told to turn yourself in. If it is for something simple (missed court date, child support, etc) you will be told to address it immediately. There is likely to be some fallout...the military frowns on their members having run ins with the police, but by being honest about it you may be able to minimize the impact. It is certainly better for you to get to the CO before civilain police contact the MP's !

Depending on what the warrant is for, chances are: you will get a negative counseling for minor actions but most major offenses can have you reprimanded or placed on restriction Article 15 (Army). The best course of action is to warn your squad leader about the offense. No leader likes to be left in the dark. If it is minor and the judge knows that you are military, it is likely to be dismissed. I am prior military, Army Vet, 73 C Finance Specialist. Good Luck!

Yes, if it is a warrant for your arrest the MPs will apprehend you. If it is just a bench warrant or a fine they will be notified and they will more than likely confront you about paying it.

they could but it depends on what the warrant is for. If it a minor offense they will keep the warrant on you and just pick you up later. But they can notify the military your best bet would be handle the warrant as soon as possible.

Yes, the military WILL be notified of it. You need to tell your supervisor IMMEDIATELY! The command doesn't need to find out that there is a warrant for your arrest when the MP/Civilian authorities show up and take you away. Your supervisor will direct you to contact JAG, as well.

During the process of enlistment, the military will do a background check on you...and your warrant will show up during that background check.
There's no way to get away from it.
