It's been pretty good so far despite my bad back. I'm going away for a couple of weeks, so I'm busy washing and packing clothes at the moment. I was up early this morning as I was waiting for a bloke to come and pick up a pigeon. A pigeon landed in my garden yesterday morning, he had difficulty flying, it was a racing pigeon so I had to care for it until I could contact the owner. It was a bit of a wild goose chase (or should it be pigeon chase) but I managed to contact him by getting his address from the pigeon assoc. by giving them the ID off his leg ring. I had to keep him a big box in my kitchen as he wasn't safe out the garden with our neighbours cat prowling. His owner seemed to think he wasn't injured but was just too knackered to fly any further and needed food and a rest. I thought it was probably that as we had a pigeon grounded in our garden before with the same problem. So until he could be picked it up I gave him free bed and breakfast, hope he doesn't tell his pigeon pals otherwise they'll all be stopping off here for a rest! Quite sorry to see him go really he was pretty tame, didn't mind being handled at all. I can't believe I'm so comfortable with birds now, I used to have a terrible phobia of them! Well that's my bit of excitement over, back to the packing I suppose. Hope you're having a good day so far, at least the sun is trying to shine at the moment!

Its looking ok for now , up showered and dressed , checked emails , answered a few questions on here .
Need to have a cuppa and some toast before my Tesco .com arrives .
As other have said the sun is shining , so if it stays that way I might just cut the lawn .
That probably will see the morning gone and I can concentrate on the afternoon .... took early retirement a few years back and now I love mornings , afternoons , evenings and any other time too

Well seeing as the sun is finally out and there's blue sky up there my morning is getting better, taken kids to school, done some shopping, posted the post I had AND now I'm off for a two hour bike ride I am WELL happy :o).

Mint so far. Been up since 7 when the wife got home from work. I've got a day off and I'm going to just plod about and do odds and sods.

Best go and hang the washing before it rains - AGAIN.

Found a stray dog, bullied my son into finishing his homework, went to the shop,cleaned the kitchen,put washing on,cancelled an appointment,listened attentively while my hubby told me about his bad nights sleep and pains in his arm,emailed my eldest son.I wonder what the rest of the day holds.

Awoken by the sound of a screaming child, just had some cornflakes and tea, which are slowing easing the pain

Boring and tiring! My boyfriend was up at 5 to go to work and i woke up then too and couldnt get back to sleep! So im at work now very tired and bored! Not very motivated today!

I got up at 7am, had 2 cups of coffee, and have been putting finishing touches to my job application. Not so bad, not so exciting.

Not bad thanks. I had a shower, got dressed, had some toast. Checked my email, ended up on here but I'm going to make a cup of tea in a minute and try and wash the car if the rain holds off. Thanks for asking. What about you?
