You are staying awake because you eat all the time, not the other way around. Don't eat for an hour before you think you should go to bed, lay down at reasonable hour close your eyes take deep breaths until you fall asleep. You will.

You need sleep. long term sleep deprivation has been linked to heart and vascular disease as well as strokes and anyurisms.

I have a similar problem, unlike you I don't eat enough due to stress. But I try to force myself to sleep because I have 2 children that need me. Its hard to get up w/ them. I need to gain weight as well. I guarnetee your like me and have a high metabolism. Try and eat breads, fatty foods...and possible contact a doctor for meds. Thats what I'm gonna do.

Your body is staying awake so it need more energy to do that, which is why your probably eating a lot and not gaining weight because you're burning it off by staying awake.

you could have a hyperthyroid. you can have you thyroid tested at the doctors office with a simple blood test
