Its up to you if you have a wireless network then connect wirelessly and you'll save yourself having to wire everything up but the speed does decrease depending on how far you are from the router.
Cable has the advantage of having a solid connection speed but it looks messy and someone might accidently pull it out etc (kids) when your playing.
Overall i would recommend you to go wireless if you have a wireless network now otherwise use wire.

In my honest opinion, I think the WIRELESS connection is the better choice since it doesn't involve any wires which can get in the way.

I don't know about you, but I paid $600 for my PS3 and I sure as hell wouldn't want someone to accidentally trip over the network wire while plugged in to my PS3...... ouch!! That would hurt.

So yeah... I think the wireless connection makes more sense for many different reasons in my opinion.

HOPE THIS HELPS!

It depends on where you live. I have wireless and I wouldn't have it any other way. I never have any problems.
BUT I also live in a huge city where wi-fi is everywhere and well established. I know some people who live in the burbs and boondocks have issued with their wireless connections.
So, if you live in an area that ATT SBC or another carrier has already established wireless, get wireless.

Wired. I first tryed wireless but the connection was HORRIBLE ( even if my router is 10 ft. away) so I just bought a 15 ft. ethernet cable at the dollar store!! My connection is AMAZING!! It just pisses me off how all the people with crappy connections play games and then disconnect right when it starts!

I use cables, coz:
1). Less interfernces.
2). Stable connection
3). I packed those wires aside and under the carpet, so I don't see them at all.
