Brainstorm who would want your product. What age range, what race, what kind of household income, what kind of education etc.. Now you have to market to that demographic. Show them the benefit of the product and help create a "need" for it.
If you can't figure that out or you cannot make a sale after trying excessively, then that means the product may not be worth selling so move on to the next greatest idea. I think moving on is the toughest but most important choice you have to make when you're selling something.

Some people will buy anything...haven't you ever read "The Lorax" by Dr. Suess? And look at all the nuts who bought an iPhone! Be passionate about what you are trying to sell, if you quiver for one second people can hear it in your voice. Know what you're talking about, or at least pretend to know. Act like consumers NEED this product, use third party tools to get the message of what you have to offer and then follow up with a closing. Best of Luck!

There will always be consumers. Someone out there will have to buy the product. If nobody will buy it, sell it someone who pays for junk, like pawn shops. Or reuse it to make something everyone will buy.

1. Tell in detail that nobody can understand how its made to make it sound obsolete when its just the same as any other.
2. Make it sound like their getting a bargain.
3.Be polite while selling say thank you etc.
4. Sell stuff with the option of paying "just ten dollars more" for junk they never needed...but its just ten more dollars ; ]

you hire someone who thinks its a great product, then you wont have that negative mind set. Try selling it like in a home depot parking lot or similar place and whoever likes the product is your man.

In every sale that is made, they are buying you, not the product.
Just look at our commercials that convince us to buy what we don't want, because in most cases, we are buying the idea.

Make them think they need it. Use fear, make other products seem inferior, create a problem and sell the solution.
